THE CAPTURED WEAPONRY

A large, multi-war collection of captured infantry weapons, many of which are prized by collectors, has been offered to Mr Egan.

Although the inventory list indicates some items date from the Napoleonic Era (1799-1815), most of the materiel is comprised of WWII-era pistols, rifles, and machine guns of US, Soviet, and Nazi manufacture. Some of the latter are reportedly still encased in their original shipping crates. Subject to licensing from the relevant authorities, these collectibles can be acquired, exported, disabled, and sold to heritage collectors worldwide.
