THE RIVER CROSSING

Over 100 years ago, at certain major and minor river crossings, thousands of fleeing troops abandoned substantial amounts of equipment and firearms. Many of the latter are valuable collectibles today. Archival forays can identify the historic routes taken, while remote sensing surveys can locate the associated artefact clusters.

Recovery operations will involve qualified sport divers supervised by commercial divers.

Very good subject for a documentary film, and perhaps an episode in the AR series.
