THE MASSACRE SITES
Up to three nations could host projects honouring the memory of citizens who once protested against an occupying foreign power. Each jurisdiction has a site where demonstrators were massacred for opposing their colonial power’s political repression and economic predations.
Most of the bullets and casings used against those unarmed crowds remain where they and their victims fell. The artefacts will be donated to the national museums via a public ceremonies. Each project can advance a nation branding strategy, while vividly describing that respective uprising’s story, which helped end centuries of colonial rule.
Very good subject for three documentary films, and at least three episodes in the AR series.
