THE METEORITE IMPACT SITE
In the 1990s, a longtime associate of Mr Egan’s described being approached by a native acquaintance in a northern hemisphere country. During the 1920s, the acquaintance’s grandfather was canoeing across a large lake near his home. An overhead explosion made him to look up just as a meteorite streaked past and plummeted into the water not far from his position. The impact caused an enormous water geyser, which the eyewitness reported to his family.
Despite the passage of time, the memory of that experience remains robust. Our group can find that meteorite via a fusion of technologies deployed by boat or helicopter. Teams of experienced sport divers, supervised by commercial divers, can then excavate around that otherworldly object to prepare it for extraction via various low-cost means.
Good subject for a documentary film, and an episode in the AR series.
